Performe, 94% organic traffic growth in a high-trust niche.

Healthcare SEO is a harder game than most because Google applies YMYL (“Your Money Your Life”) scrutiny. You can’t cut corners on E-E-A-T. Performe is a more recent engagement where we’re doing everything by the book, and the trend line is already in the right place.

Performe healthcare SEO case study

The brief

Performe is a health services brand. Content accuracy matters. So does author authority, citation trail, schema, and the slow work of building credibility signals Google actually weights in a YMYL niche. Paid ads were carrying most of the acquisition cost and the client wanted to bring that down.

What I did

  • E-E-A-T overhaul: proper author pages with credentials, references where relevant, organisational schema, medically-reviewed tags where appropriate.
  • Content restructuring: existing articles rewritten to answer the question first, support it with evidence, and stop burying the lede behind filler introductions.
  • Entity and knowledge graph work: the AEO foundations that set the site up for AI Overview visibility as well as traditional SEO.
  • Technical audit + fixes: indexation cleanup, internal linking, schema validation, Core Web Vitals improvements.

The outcome (so far)

Organic sessions up 94.4%. Ranking keyword footprint up 81.1%. Traffic value up 150%. The engagement is ongoing and the curve is still climbing. In a YMYL niche, these are strong numbers inside the first few quarters.

Healthcare SEO rewards patience more than almost any other niche. If your agency is promising page-one rankings in 60 days for a medical query, run.
